Varun Ahir
Hello there, I’m Varun, a designer who thrives on solving complex problems with a background in finance, healthcare and A.I. domain.
Currently, I’m leading the UX initiatives at FINRA spearheading their digital transformations and providing value to the end customers. I am part of a tightly knit team of designers, product owners, analysts, contents and engineers building solutions and experiences to empower financial and mortgage institutions to provide personalized, value added services.
Prior to that, I was at Merck Pharmaceuticals where I redesigned their web portal and iPad experiences that brought much needed optimization in the user journeys for doctors and other HCP professionals in the HIV sector. Before that, I had the opportunity to design unique data-driven solutions in the space of AI & ML and Finance for organizations like Deloitte Digital, Black Knight Financial Services, and Crane.
As a designer I am driven to understand and empathize with my end users and I do this through qualitative and quantitative research, that transforms into meaningful but simple strategies and solutions. This is how I understand, test, learn, and ship engaging, long-lasting products and experiences for users.
When I’m not designing you can find me playing with Fido, my pet dog on the streets of Philadelphia.
